But the homecoming dance was the first party Zecheiah Martin, 16, attended at Stephenson, and she was surprised at what she saw. "We were around adults and we should carry ourselves better," said Martin, a 10th-grader. "I didn't know people danced like that at homecoming. It looked like people were having sex."

LaHaye Condemns U.S. Public Education
I don't necessarily consider Tim LaHaye to be an expert on a lot of things, however:
He says Christian parents who want their children to grow up to know God as he reveals himself in scripture should not think for a moment that they can compensate for the philosophical and mental damage being done in public schools by sending their kids to Sunday school, youth group, or Bible study once a week.
I would say this is the same in regards to Individualism and Capitalism as well.
